How to setup scheduled tasks [Cron jobs] in Plesk?
- Sign in to your eWallHost account by clicking on the "Login" option located in the top right corner.
- After logging in, navigate to the "Services" section to access a list of hosting packages associated with your account.
- To access your hosting package, click the ">" symbol located under the "Action" column next to your desired option. Then, select "Hosting Info" and click on "Web Hosting."
- On the Plesk home page, click on "Website and Domain" on the left side, and then select "Schedule Task."
- On the directed page, click the "Settings" tab. You will have two options for setting the time:
- Use the system default time.
- Use a specific time zone.
- Based on your preference, select either one and click the "OK" button below.
- Next, click "Add Task" on the Schedule Tasks home page. You will need to fill out certain criteria, such as:
- Under the "Task Type" section, you have three options:
- Run as command
- Fetch a URL
- Run as a PHP script
- Enter the command. Select the desired frequency for the cron job to run.Provide a description for the task.
- For the "Notify" section, you have three options:
- Do not notify
- Notify on errors only
- Notify every time
- Based on your preference, you can select the notification settings.
- Under the "Send notification to" option, you can choose to send notifications to either the subscription owner or other specific users.
- Once you have filled in all the required details, click the "OK" button at the bottom.
