How to Password protect a directory in Plesk?

Sign in to your eWallHost account by clicking on the "Login" option located in the top right corner.
After logging in, navigate to the "Services" section to access a list of hosting packages associated with your account.
To access your hosting package, click the ">" symbol located under the "Action" column next to your desired option. Then, select "Hosting Info" and click on "Web Hosting."
On the Plesk home page, click the website and domain on the left side. Under your domain, you will find a list from which you can click on the password-protected directories.

To create password protection for a directory, follow these steps:

On the top, click on "Add Protected Directory."
Fill in the required information, including the directory name that you want to protect and the title of the protected area.
Once you have finished entering the information, click the OK button below.
After completing the process, click the newly added directory to add the username and password.
Click the "Add User" option. A window will pop up, where you should enter the required details such as the username and password. Confirm your password again, and then click the OK button below.
Congratulations! You have successfully created password protection for your directory.

If you wish to remove this protection, follow these steps:

Select the directory you want to remove protection from.
Click "Remove Protection" at the top.
Confirm the removal when prompted.
By following these steps, you can easily manage password protection for your directories within your eWallHost account.
