How to upload files in cPanel

Login to your cPanel account.
Click the File Manager under the File section.
Click the setting option in the right-hand corner. On the preference tab, select the Web Root (public_html or www) and Show Hidden Files (dotfiles), and then click on the save button. By choosing Web Root, it will direct you to the folder in your hosting account.
Select the Upload option on the top and locate the file that you want to upload from your system by selecting the File option or dragging your file.
Once the file is done uploading, you can click the link in the center, which will direct you to the folder in which you uploaded the file recently.
