To back up your site using Softaculous, follow these steps:

• Login to your cPanel account.
• Scroll down, locate the software section, and click on the link for the Softaculous app. Once it has finished loading, click on “All Installations” located at the top right of your screen.
• On that page, you will be able to see the list of software installed in Softaculous. On the right-hand side of the software you want to back up, you will be able to see the backup icon. Click on it.
• It will give you the option to either back up the directory or the database. If you want to back up both, you can select both options and click the “Backup Installation” button located at the bottom of the page.
• It takes time to complete the restoration process, and the duration depends on factors such as the size of your website and the size of your databases.
• Once the backup is complete, a message will appear on the screen confirming that the backup was successfully created. It provides a link on the screen that will direct you to the backup pages, where you can access your backup data.
• The other way to find your backups is through FTP or the cPanel file manager. It will be located within the root of your account in the folder named “Softaculous Backups.”
